While there is a risk that the negotiations may not be successful, there is hope that a mutually beneficial agreement will be reached to allow Ta-boó to continue operating in its historic location.

The mayor and town council members also recognize the significance of Ta-boó as a part of the history of the area. Worth Avenue is considered to be the Rodeo Drive of Palm Beach County, and the Spanish and blended Mediterranean architecture from Addison Mizner in the 1920s is evident on the avenue and the many pleasant little "Vias" that spring off it.

Ta-boó has a fascinating history, with past ownership dating back to 1941 when Ted Stone opened the restaurant. Its client roster includes John F. Kennedy, Jackie Onassis, Frank Sinatra, and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, among countless other current celebrities. The potential loss of Ta-boó would be a significant loss to the community and the restaurant's rich history.
